SEEKING A DYNAMIC AND VISIONARY LEADERto serve as Principal of one of our two nationally accredited Preschool Academies. As Academy Principal, you oversee daily operations, lead a team of dedicated educators, support educational quality standards, maintain open communication with parents, represent the Academy to community groups, and help shape the future of early childhood education through innovative programs and community partnerships.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelors degree in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, special education, or related field (masters degree preferred).
- At least three years of leadership or administrative experience in early childhood or elementary education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working in accredited early childhood education program.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of computers and computing (specifically MSOffice).
- Ability to work morning and evening hours.
- Passion for serving children and families in a mission-driven, community-based setting

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Oversees Academy staff hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Supervises and evaluates the Assistant Principal and other direct-report staff.
- Oversees implementation of Academy curriculum and lesson plans.
- Collects and reports student developmental assessment data.
- Provides inhouse training and professional development for Academy staff.
- Ensures compliance with licensure, accreditation, and institutional standards and policies.
- Convenes regular staff meetings to coordinate Academy policy, practice, and procedure.
- Assists in marketing the Academy in the local community, recruiting new students, and conducting campus tours.
- Achieves and maintains student enrollment targets.
- Ensures proper and timely completion of student enrollment documentation.
- Develops and maintains positive and open communication with parents of Academy students.
- Conducts regular meetings of parents of Academy students.
- Serves as ex officio member of Academy Parents Council.
- Conducts orientation for parents of Academy students using Preschool Academy Handbook as a guide.
- Publishes monthly Academy digital newsletter for parents of Academy students.
- Manages the Academy budget.
- Authorizes administrative and financial request forms.
- Submits reports to the President, as requested.
- Serves as voting member of the trustees' Programs & Assessment and Scholarships & Recognitions Committees and attends trustee meetings.
- Represents the Academy to outside groups and organizations, as assigned by the President.
- Serves as Community Liaison to the homeowners/civic association.
- Provides such other related duties as may, from time-to-time, be assigned.
