Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity – Virginia
Seeking Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologists to join an ongoing locum coverage pool for inpatient and call coverage. This opportunity includes STEMI call, inpatient management, and interventional procedures with support from an established cardiology team.
Compensation: Overtime: $460/hr, Night Call: $350, 24 Hour On Call: $2,570 per 24 hours, Call Back: $460/hr.

Weeknight Call
Monday – Friday
5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Additional Responsibilities
Potential inpatient rounding
STEMI call coverage
Unassigned call coverage
Non-invasive call coverage as assigned

250-bed hospital
30 ICU beds
Team Structure
Multiple Interventional Cardiologists on staff
Other Interventional Cardiologists available during coverage
No supervision of advanced practice providers required
Call Volume
Moderate STEMI activation volume
More phone consults than in-person call backs
Emergent call backs occur relatively infrequently

Heart Catheterization
Coronary Angiograms
Carotid Artery Stenting
Atherectomy
Embolic Protection Procedures
Medical Management of Vascular Disease

Requirements
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Active Virginia Medical License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Clean Malpractice History
Current NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days of presentation)
Credentialing
Emergency and temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
Travel
Travel assistance available in accordance with facility guidelines.
