Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy assessments and treatments to residents
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans to restore mobility and function
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques
• Contribute to a positive rehabilitation experience for every resident

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Virginia
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• New graduates are warmly welcomed and encouraged to apply
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehab is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
• Skill in patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
• Ability to build rapport with elderly residents and their families
• Familiarity with SNF regulations and care standards
• Effective time management and organizational skills
