Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover, Security Clearance in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to reports, and document activity with clear communication while delivering standout customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points by checking identification, confirming authorization, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and documenting entries and exits according to site requirements.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol activity logs using required electronic systems and/or written forms, and communicate timely updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
