Senior Systems Engineer - ETL

Responsibilities

• Understands and utilizes data modeling and ETL processes
• Utilizes Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud computing principles
• Clearly communicates technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, both in person and in writing
• Manages A&A/ATO compliance and forms, scans/updates, routine information systems security tasks, and systems engineering documentation

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required
• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of work history may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking
• Experience with AWS Services (architecture, security, scalability)
• Understanding of ETL pipelines associated with AI/ML algorithms and their relation to data flow and driving business value.

Desired Experience:

• Implementation and operation of virtualization software (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience implementing cloud infrastructure in high security environments
• Experience crafting data visualizations/system diagrams/architecture documentation
• Knowledge of neo4j graph database technologies, cypher query language
• Systems engineering support for AI/ML, LLM development projects
• Programming experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
