Lead Claims Specialist
:
What you do You will work with the Team Leaders to bridge gaps and drive department goals. Coach, mentor and support agents and review more complex claims. Your key responsibilites: - Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Work to develop and maintain trusting working relationships with others,
- Seek to continuously learn from errors and experiences.
- Collaborate with and maintain open communication with all departments as needed to verify or obtain missing information.
- Research discrepancies and escalate questionable claims to the Manager.
- Act as a resource and provide assistance to less experienced associates.
- Cross train and provide support as needed for cross functional teams.
- Assist with coaching and mentoring of agents
- Research, resolve, and provide responses to escalated claim cases and calls.
- Assist with client services escalations (Bankcard).
- Support new hire training.
- May perform other duties as assigned
What you bring - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six (6) or more years' experience in a claims related function with demonstrated success
- processing claims.
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communications skills.
- Exhibits strong critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and remain self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual preferred; may be required based on business need.
