Mission Focus: NT Concepts is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to oversee development of an innovative new Business Analytics Data Fabric in support of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s All-Source Analytic Enterprise (DIAAE). This architecture will serve as a single source of truth for all intelligence application data, providing a unified view of production planning, sourcing patterns, and client engagement. With this platform, you'll help enable:

• Meaningful analytics : Uncover hidden trends and patterns in intelligence data to inform business decisions and drive strategic outcomes


• Cross-contextual insights : Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources to a common enterprise data fabric to reveal new relationships and accelerate time to intelligence


• Data-driven decision making : Empower stakeholders with actionable intelligence to optimize production planning, sourcing, and client engagement

Clearance : Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph required.

Location/Flexibility: National Capitol Region, Vienna, VA, hybrid government and contractor facilities with remote flexibility based on program needs.

Responsibilities:

The role will act as Technical Lead on projects, providing technical guidance and oversight to the project execution team in collaboration with our Program Manager. You'll lead cross-functional teams to:

• Develop AI-ready data architectures : Design and implement data structures that enable seamless integration with AI and ML technologies


• Drive business outcomes : Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making and develop solutions that drive business growth and optimization


• Stay up to date with the latest advancements : Participate in ongoing research and development to ensure our solutions remain at the cutting edge of technology

Successful candidate will bring demonstrated expertise in a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and tools, such as JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Databases (e.g., Neo4j, MongoDB, Redis), ElasticSearch, Solr, SQL, Node.js, Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Tableau

The position will also ensure alignment between project activities and accepted scope, negotiate with the customers, vendors, and other partners on changes to scope. This role will own full end-to-end delivery of products and will also be responsible for leading team members of varying professional levels.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent


• Clearance: TS/SCI and CI Polygraph


• 10+ Years of experience in IT industry with at least 2 years in Technical Lead position


• May substitute years of experience with more advanced education credentials (i.e., MS)


• Experience with Node.js, Typescript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and cloud database architectures Neo4j AuraDB, Amazon Neptune, JanusGraph (or equivalent technologies) highly desired

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer


• Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
