Travel Occupational Therapist Job
- Conducting thorough evaluations of functional abilities, sensory processing, fine motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living to determine effective OT interventions.
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, selecting evidence-based therapeutic approaches, facilitating purposeful activities, and employing adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Providing patient and caregiver education, home program instructions, and strategies to promote independence in self-care, community participation, work tasks, and leisure activities.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team—physiotherapists, physicians, speech-language pathologists, social workers—to optimize care, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
- Documenting progress, managing timely chart notes, and contributing to discharge planning and transition to community-based services.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to deepen expertise within the specialty and to enhance outcomes for diverse populations.
