Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with specialized experience in neuro IR procedures. This travel position is based in Glen Allen, VA, at a hospital campus offering advanced imaging technologies and a focused team environment.
Location:
Situated in Glen Allen, VA, this facility is part of a modern medical campus in the Richmond metro area, known for its vibrant community and accessible amenities. You'll be working in a 4-bed Angiography/Special Procedures unit equipped with high-end Phillips and GE biplane imaging systems, supported by the Meditech EMR platform.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
- Proven expertise in neuro interventional radiology imaging
- Proficient with angiography and special procedures
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of 5 RNs and 4 technologists during day shifts
- Available for call after hours and weekends
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex neuro IR imaging procedures with precision and care
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to support heavy neuro volumes
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout all procedures
- Communicate and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient care and workflow
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with hospital protocols
Schedule:
- Day shift coverage with potential for call after hours and weekends
