Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the appropriate state
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional strengths and challenges
• Develop recommendations and intervention strategies to support identified needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and special education processes
• Consult with teachers and administrators on behavior management, classroom accommodations, and instructional strategies
• Provide individual or group counseling and facilitate social skills programs as needed
• Support crisis intervention, threat assessment, and emergency care plans
• Maintain confidential student records and reporting in compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards
