Regional General Manager

Job title: Regional General Manager - Dulux line Permanent role Location: Maritime provinces, Canada *Frequent travel * Benefits Day 1 Salary: 110-130k The Dulux Regional General Manager, you will help steer the financial and operational success of our business within the Maritime Region. Operating across three major distribution channels - Dulux Stores (corporate stores), Independent Dealers (including National Accounts), and Home Centers (Rona & Home Depot) - you will be the driving force behind sales growth, using your proven expertise in this domain. You will report to the General Manager Canada. Key Responsibilities

• Grow sales strategically through multiple channels in the Maritime Region, implementing effective sales strategies and using your experience achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Maintain close contact with current and potential customers, fostering and building strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Supervise the recruitment, training, and development of the sales and operations force, ensuring a high-performing team. Support and implement performance and learning processes to enhance team capabilities.
• Lead all aspects of Retail and Trade Sales and Operations, including P&L management, retail store oversight, personnel management, and inventory control. Ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations in sales and store operations.
• Ensure compliance with zone administration requirements, encompassing duties such as employee compensation, forecasting, credit management, expense reporting, price quoting, sales tracking, sales reporting, automation, territory realignments, annual profit plan, real estate strategy, and complaint handling.
• Lead store planning and new store opening startup.
• Implement standardized operating procedures and efficient processes reflecting both industry practice and the use of quality tools.
• Collaborate and coordinate team selling activities across different teams and distribution channels to maximize overall effectiveness.
• Achieve profit and sales objectives for the zone, using your strategic mindset and sales acumen to lead business success.

• Minimum of a three-year college degree preferred, with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience resolving customer complaints and providing superb customer service.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
• Broad understanding of the application and use of paint and sundries preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
