Operations Accountant
- Track and reconcile revenue related to maintenance and support contracts in accordance with company policy
- Monitor budgets versus actual costs for Customer Care and service operations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including variance explanations
- Support forecasting activities in collaboration with Customer Care leadership
- Review labor allocations, time reporting, and vendor expenses for accuracy
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and revenue recognition support
- Maintain accurate project and cost center setup within ERP systems
- Provide financial schedules and documentation for audit support
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and operational visibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (4-year degree required)
- 2–4 years of accounting or operational finance experience
- Experience tracking revenue, budgets, and actual costs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to cross-functional teams
- Experience in a technology or services-based company
- Familiarity with recurring revenue or maintenance contracts
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 a plus)
- Experience supporting operational or customer support teams
