Automotive Service Rental Car Assistant

Sheehy Auto Stores is currently on the lookout for a talented Service Rental Car Assistant who would like to join our family as our business continues to grow. As the Service Rental Car Assistant, you will be able to use your skills in greeting the customer, assuring the vehicles are kept in great condition at all times, rental vehicles are issued and returned properly, the lot is well attended to, and our customers see something great when they first enter our locations. Duties:

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a first-class experience.
• Complete loaner agreements accurately and efficiently, verifying insurance and eligibility in accordance with Lexus Customer Convenience System (LCCS) and company policies.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles before and after use and report any damage.
• Schedule and coordinate loaner vehicle pickups, returns, and delivery drivers efficiently.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned, fueled, and well organized loaner fleet.
• Track and manage inventory while maintaining timely servicing of fleet vehicles.
• Address guest concerns quickly, courteously, and within company policy guidelines.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Maintain records of courtesy trips, loaner violations, and other relevant data for reporting and analysis.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed in the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum Age: 21
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• 2+ Years Customer Service Experience (Luxury Retail or Automotive Preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-Motivated and goal oriented and to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Reynolds and Reynolds DMS experience is a plus.
