Modular Homes Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- Leverage your network of modular builder clients to drive immediate sales success.
- Promptly follow up on leads from the company website and other sources.
- Build new accounts and maintain strong relationships with modular home builders in your territory.
- Promote company offerings through both virtual and in-person meetings.
- Apply strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to support clients and projects.
- Use general computer skills to manage leads, proposals, and communications.
- Qualify potential customers through discovery and needs assessment.
- Secure feasibility study agreements and coordinate collection of deposits.
- Communicate with the sales coordinator and drafting staff to guide builders through the pipeline.
- Ensure factory orders are accurate and payment is collected on schedule.
- Stay in contact with customers throughout construction; attend home set days and gather feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in modular home sales or relevant construction experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Deep understanding of home construction processes.
- Self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in general computer tools and platforms.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $39,000 per year
- Commission: 2.5% on all closed sales
- Typical First-Year Earnings: $50,000–$80,000+
- Top Performers Earn: $90,000+ annually
