Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Williamsburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a hospitality setting.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and urgent situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas lobbies entrances parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with directions and general assistance and support a professional atmosphere for guests and staff.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation noting security-related concerns maintenance issues and/or policy violations for follow-up by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
