We currently seek an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Fredericksburg VA area as well as the surrounding areas. This position can be hybrid if so desired.

Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is a member of the Care Advantage team under the supervision of the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Senior Vice President of Operations. The TAS is responsible for assisting assigned offices with the sourcing, prescreening, and the hiring process of candidates. The TAS will help drive candidates to each branch. This position has interrelationships with office and field employees and other parties related to the business of Care Advantage through telephone and office contact. The r TAS adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations. This position promotes and supports the Company's core values of Compassion, a positive Attitude, Respect and Excellence.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the organization by sourcing qualified candidates for open Personal Care field positions.
  • Lead the screening activities for the office by developing and initiating a recruitment strategy to ensure caregivers are hired and ready to work to meet client demands
  • Screen and identify qualified candidates by prescreening and interviewing candidates, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with appropriate offices
  • Conduct weekly meetings with teams via phone conference/WebEx to develop appropriate recruiting strategies and help ensure hiring metrics for each office
    are being met
  • Update/write and post job ads in Applicant Pro to reflect current needs of each branch as requested
  • Research and suggest ways to create more effective ads in the applicant tracking system
  • Work with Administrators and Branch Recruiters to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
  • Collaborate with Marketing department regarding the use of social media for postings, updates and Company information
  • Complete and/or offer support in performing onboarding activities for field employees. It is our intention to offer a warm introduction to the Company and ensure a clear understanding of expectations and responsibilities
  • Make appropriate decisions and judgment calls when:
    • Owning the selection of excellent and well-qualified candidates that will work well within our Company's culture
    • Organizing assignments and complete them in a timely and efficient manner
  • Demonstrating flexibility and timeliness in responding to unpredicted situations such as emergencies and changes; reporting concerns/needs to appropriate office employee immediately. Supporting individual offices as needed with specific recruitment activities.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or G.E.D., Bachelor's preferred
  • 3 years of work experience; 1+ years of specific recruitment experience and ability to develop and execute a recruitment strategy
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Proficient with MS Office products and MS Teams
