Insurance Field Inspector - New Port News Location

We are a regional insurance inspection firm that covers the southeastern United States and is based in Louisiana. We are expanding into VA at the request of our largest client. Our current rep in the Chesapeake area is not able to keep up and we are looking to add local representation.

• We typically run a 30 mile radius and expect vast majority of your work to be in that window.
• Each commercial report pays $63 per inspection and typically takes about an hour to complete.
• The position is 1099 and scheduled at your own pace, within a 20-day time frame.
• All training needed for the position is provided, but we do prioritize those with construction or insurance backgrounds.
• Pay is sent twice per month on approved accounts.
• Inspector is currently split between the peninsula and the west side of Chesapeake/Norfolk area.

Job Description:

• The position will require you to contact the insured to complete an interview, schedule an onsite appointment, provide photographs and a diagram of the location, and then submit your findings on our website.

Requirements:

• You will be required to have reliable transport, a computer with high-speed internet, and a digital camera.
• All training will be provided, but relevant work history is favored.
