Construction Bookkeeper / Payroll Manager (Union & Certified Payroll)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Bookkeeper / Payroll Manager with hands-on experience in:
- Union payroll
- Certified payroll reporting
- Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage compliance
- Job costing
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Construction payroll tax reporting
- Workers compensation audits
- QuickBooks and/or construction accounting software
Responsibilities include:
- Weekly payroll processing
- Union fringe calculations and reporting
- Certified payroll submissions
- Vendor payments
- Job cost tracking
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
- Managing employee onboarding/payroll records
- Supporting CPA during the monthly and year-end close
Required Experience
- 3+ years in construction bookkeeping
- Experience with union payroll
- Experience filing certified payroll reports
- Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements
- Strong QuickBooks experience
Preferred
- Experience with Foundation, Sage, or Vista
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Construction industry references
