Job Title : Administrative Assistant II

Job Location : Norfolk, VA

Schedule : Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Payrate : $18.00/hour

Job Duties :

• Maintain a welcoming and pleasant reception area when greeting visitors.
• Greeting callers and visitors; handles and processes incoming calls; screens call and take messages; directs inquiries to the proper source and answers questions within the context of established policies and procedures; initiates routine correspondence.
• Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
• Providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
• Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as mandated by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on the current workloads and department needs.
• To plan, organize, and prioritize daily tasks; document files, input data, prepare and maintain records, periodic, specials and other reports.

Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience
• Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Skill in the provision of services to visitors and callers.
• Skill in verbal and written communication.
