Receptionist/Sales Associate

About the Role:

At Lorton Auto Service Center, our Receptionist / Sales Associates are the welcoming face of our business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, staying organized, and helping customers feel comfortable and cared for. You’ll greet customers, answer calls, schedule appointments, and support our service team with sales and coordination. This position offers a supportive, family-like environment where your people skills shine as much as your organizational skills. Great for college students or anyone looking for flexible part-time work! (2 days a week)

What You’ll Do:

• Warmly greet and assist customers in person and by phone.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments with attention to detail.
• Help prepare estimates and order parts as needed.
• Keep records accurate and organized.
• Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle status and service options.
• Support the service team in prioritizing and completing repairs efficiently.
• Provide updates, answer questions, and ensure customers feel informed every step of the way.
• Assist with other related tasks that keep the shop running smoothly.

• Business casual attire is perfect, a blouse and dress pants or skirt work well.
• Heels are totally optional (we care more about your smile than your shoes).

• Friendly, approachable, and organized
• Strong communication and people skills
• Some sales, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred (but not required, we’re happy to train the right person, a fantastic optimistic personality is more important)
• Someone who enjoys working in a team oriented, supportive environment

At Lorton Auto Service Center we have been providing vehicle maintenance and repairs since 2016. We are a small family owned business and will treat every customer as part of our own family. We provide excellent service with constant training and convenience by providing appointment based work schedule. We are located in the Alexandria / Lorton / Kingstown / Springfield / North Fort Belvoir area of Northern Virginia and offers full repair and general maintenance services for cars and trucks. Foreign or domestic, new or old, production or custom, we can fix it!
