Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required prior to the start of the assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from AHA or ARC.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including treatment of geriatric, orthopedic, and neurologic populations such as joint replacements and post-stroke care.
- Experience with common outpatient equipment preferred: cryotherapy, heating pads, antigravity devices, TENS units, and parallel bars.
- Ability to work autonomously within an outpatient clinic attached to a hospital. Travel candidates must reside at least 50 miles outside the facility at time of placement.
- New graduates will be considered; experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital outpatient clinic.
- Shift: Days.
- Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
- Travel candidates only. Open to temp-to-perm conversion.
- Interview process: ITO interview followed by manager interview.
- Patient population: Ambulatory geriatric outpatients with orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses.
