Senior software engineer

Tyler Technologies is looking for a Senior Software Engineer at 12801 Worldgate Dr., Suite 600, Herndon, VA 20170 to perform the following job duties:

Develop and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics and real-time monitoring systems. Architect and build data dashboards and tools that support strategic decision-making. Create AI tools for issue resolution predictions, utilizing machine learning and web-crawled data. Develop features and enhance data presentation and user experience, including risk prediction models. Guide and mentor less experienced team members to foster technical growth. Work closely with business analysts and other teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Team members are required to report to our Herndon, VA office at least 2 days per week. May work remotely from the same MSA as the worksite up to 3 days per week. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or similar occupation in which relevant experience is gained and 5 years of experience in each of the following: machine learning, AI, data analytics, Python, R, SQL, AWS, SAS, SPSS Scala, Tableau, Hadoop, Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies OR a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field or a foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or similar occupation plus 2 years of experience in each of the following: machine learning, AI, data analytics, Python, R, SQL, AWS, SAS, SPSS, Scala, Tableau, Hadoop, Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies.
