Data Scientist II (SharePoint Specialist)

Significance has an exciting opportunity for a Navy SharePoint Specialist. In this role, the Navy SharePoint Specialist will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint environments (Online or On-Premises), including managing site collections, permission and security policies to ensure secure and efficient collaboration. They monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, apply updates, and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data. Additionally, they integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Power Platform), automate tasks via PowerShell,

enforce governance policies, and provide user training and support to optimize SharePoint’s functionality and alignment with organizational needs.

Required Skills

• At least five years’ experience with SharePoint tools, workflow, site customization, site and server security
• Strong problem solving and communication skills both verbal and writing.
• Certification or Training: Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) required
• Bachelor's Degree in IT Management or Engineering
• Active Secret Clearance

$75,000 - $80,000 a year

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
