Early Childhood Teacher

Must be dependable, patient, possess ability to learn quickly, retain and recall what was learned and have a love for children as well as a desire to be in their presence. - Provides for the physical safety and well-being of each child, from arrival to departure
- Attends training sessions for professional and program development
- Ensures licensing requirements are implemented
- Classroom assistance with teaching and aiding children with classwork
- Leading/developing crafts ideas and aiding children through crafts exercise
- Aiding children with potty use, changing diapers
- Observing and interacting with children during outdoor play while insuring safety of children
- Securing a safe environment for children inside daycare area
- Cleaning of area after meals/snacks and at end of day and securing class and equipment used during day.
- Positive, reliable work ethic
- Passionate about working with children
- Meets/exceeds licensing requirements including:
- TB Test
- Background Check
- Documentation of citizenship
- Physical ability to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have own transportation
- Experience in early childhood education or related field
- Hold CDA or other associate's degree or higher
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
