A retail and long-term care setting requires a licensed pharmacist to fulfill a contract position starting in early August. This role is ideal for pharmacists with a background in retail or long-term care pharmacy and a valid Virginia license.
Location: Hampton, VA
Contract Type: Temporary (8+ weeks)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other authorized health practitioners
- Provide detailed information and guidance to customers about medication use
- Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Virginia Pharmacist license
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
