Fundraising Events Assistant - Entry Level - Paid Training Provided
We’re looking for a motivated Fundraising Events Assistant to join our team. This full-time, entry-level position provides hands-on experience supporting community fundraising campaigns and public outreach events.
No prior experience? No problem. We offer comprehensive paid training and ongoing mentorship to set you up for success.
About the Role
As a Fundraising Events Assistant, you’ll represent nonprofit initiatives at live, in-person events. This is a face-to-face role focused on community engagement, event support, and donor outreach — not a remote or call center position.
You’ll help create positive event experiences while raising awareness and support for meaningful causes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with event setup, coordination, and breakdown
Engage attendees in friendly, informative conversations
Communicate campaign goals and answer questions clearly
Support fundraising and donor outreach efforts
Distribute promotional materials and event resources
Collaborate with team members to achieve fundraising targets
Maintain a professional and enthusiastic presence at all events
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with the public in an event setting
Reliable, team-focused, and open to coaching
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Full-time availability
Helpful but not required experience:
Customer service, retail, hospitality, promotional work, sales, or event support.
