Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury cases from start to finish

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials

• Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

• Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and legal counsel

• Assess new cases during intake and offer sound legal advice to prospective clients

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Virginia (Required)

• Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience

• Experience litigating in Virginia General District and Circuit Courts

• J.D. from an accredited law school and a bachelor’s degree

• Excellent legal research, negotiation, drafting, and oral advocacy skills

• Strong understanding of tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, and medical malpractice

• Proficiency with legal software and standard office technology

• A commitment to client advocacy, ethics, and professionalism
