Mechanical Project Engineer
- Design HVAC systems for a variety of project types including educational, civic, arts, and commercial buildings.
- Perform design load calculations and energy modeling to support efficient and code-compliant system design.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and software to develop accurate and effective mechanical system designs.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within established budget parameters.
- Collaborate closely with internal team members and external clients to support seamless project execution.
- Maintain clear and effective communication throughout all project phases.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on professional development and technical excellence.
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- 7–10 years of professional mechanical engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency in design load calculation and energy modeling software such as Trace and ComCheck.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in REVIT preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
