Who we are:
Child & Family Healing Center provides 24- hour intensive residential treatment on Shineforth's staff-secure, unlocked 33-acre campus. Our multidisciplinary team integrates Collaborative Problem Solving™ with family engagement, psychiatry, nursing, verbal and non-verbal therapies, social work, and counseling.
What we do:
We collaborate with communities in a Systems of Care approach to ensure successful transition into residential treatment, through intervention, and back into the community. We assess strengths and executive functioning to develop treatment goals for youth and families.
Who We Serve:
We serve males, females, and gender-diverse youth ages 11-17 at time of admission, who are in the custody of their parent/guardian, the Department of Social Services, or the Department of Juvenile Justice, and have a minimum IQ of 65 (evaluated on a case-by-case basis).

What we are looking for:
An Overnight Lead Milieu Coach to participate as a member of a treatment team in Child & Family Healing Center’s residential program to meet the social, recreational, behavioral, and educational needs of youth exhibiting acute emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Implement, lead and participate in social and recreational activities for youth. Create and follow through on a schedule of rotation through the suites providing support where needed. Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu that meets the physical and emotional needs of our clients. Implement treatment protocols established by a multi-disciplinary team.
Respond to crisis as directed by Residential Manager, Treatment Specialist or Administrators. Assume assigned tasks and responsibilities from supervisor and Administrative Staff.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree with five years residential experience and /or training and two years directly supervising staff in a residential setting. Master's degree or equivalent preferred. Prior knowledge of Virginia DBHDS, COA and Medicaid regulations preferred.
