Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs analytical assignments for the Department of Developmental Services' (Department) Community Appeals and Resolutions Branch (CARB). Additionally, this position performs a wide variety of governmental and investigative activities associated with the various complaints received by the Department. These activities include researching allegations and processing Whistleblower Complaints and Lanterman Act Eligibility and Service Appeals. The incumbent must effectively communicate and correspond with management, staff, and internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the work of CARB. Duties may include access to information systems containing protected and personally identifying information.

Effective July 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three percent in exchange for five hours per month of the Personal Leave.

This position is eligible for geographic retention pay differential of $250.00 per month.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be numbered in the same order as the following areas, typed in 12-point Arial font, single spaced, and be no more than two pages in length. Applicants who fail to answer the questions or submit an SOQ may not be considered.
