Job Title: Benefits Specialist

About the Role

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Benefits Specialist to join our client, a global nonprofit. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all things related to employee benefits, ensuring our team members understand and maximize the value of their benefits packages. You’ll play a key role in supporting employee well-being and satisfaction while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear and empathetic support.

• Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communication, system updates, and employee education.

• Collaborate with vendors and brokers to manage plan renewals, resolve issues, and ensure service quality.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, COBRA).

• Support audits, reporting, and data analysis related to benefits utilization and costs.

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes related to benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR.

• Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Experience with HRIS systems and benefits platforms is a plus.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
