RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Must have 1/5 start date
• Work on 2F Med Surg unit with 34 beds (maximum capacity of 43 patients)
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
• Maintain 5:1 patient ratio
• Work with remote tele equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Provide care on general medical surgical floor that is also designated as stroke and neuro unit
• Perform typical medical surgical procedures along with specialized stroke and neurological care
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke certification and ACLS preferred
• Navy scrubs required for dress code
• Ideal candidate should be upbeat, engaged, and compassionate
