Come be a part of The Most Comprehensive Heart & Vascular Group in Virginia! Centra Heart & Vascular Institute has a full-time opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our wonderful team here in Lynchburg, VA.

Centra Heart & Vascular Institute is home to forty-two Physicians including seven Surgeons and fifty Advanced Practice Providers, all who specialize in the major disciplines of cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and cardiology including electrophysiology, interventional, structural, noninvasive cardiology, heart failure and pediatric/adult congenital. Centra Heart & Vascular Institute also includes providers in wound care, bariatrics and endocrinology.

Position Details

• Position duties include a heavy inpatient, day outpatient per week
• Night Call 1:3
• Participate in weekend & holiday rotation 1:3
• Set OR blocks
• Rounding on patients

About the team:

Our Cardiothoracic team does coronary artery bypass graft, the maze procedure, aortic repairs, and valve replacement surgeries. They take pride in their APPs and their abilities in the OR and with patients, the training is very hands on with the whole team to make sure that you succeed.
