Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who specializes in new construction and interior renovations, including embassies, multi-family, commercial projects, and interior fit-outs. The Project Manager will ensure projects are profitable, delivered on time, and maintain strong relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the owner, design team, and subcontractors.
• Ensure and confirm that trade Scopes of Work (SOWs) are clear and accurate.
• Accurately forecast project profits.
• Coordinate directly with superintendents on manpower needs, SOWs, and sequence of work.
• Produce project schedules.
• Administer contract obligations.
• Ensure subcontractors are paid on time for monies earned.
• Coach and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.

Essential Skills

• Experience in project management, construction, and construction management.
• Expertise in interior and ground-up commercial construction.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Building Connected Pro Software.
• Experience with change orders, RFIs, and commercial construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office software.

The work environment is fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and requires a high level of ownership for errors. The culture is collaborative and team-oriented, with everyone working closely to ensure deadlines are met with high-quality work. The position requires flexibility to work on-site as needed and in the office as necessary. The company offers a family/team atmosphere with opportunities for growth and development in the industry. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Falls Church, VA.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Falls Church,VA.
