Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:

Operational Systems Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

We are looking for a strong, senior level, technical leader looking to apply a multi-disciplined approach towards applying cybersecurity tactics to both offensive and defensive perspectives. You'll be part of a multi-faceted team of computer operators, SME's, and systems experts with a joint task of developing web-based systems that improve the efficiency, usability, automation and standardization of our project.

The appropriate candidate should have experience with the following:

• Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
• Proven ability to design and develop integrated network solutions using Linux and traditional appliance network devices.
• 7 to 14 years of experience working in software engineering, application development and/or web application development and deployment.
• 7+ years with Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Java, and other OO languages.
• Proven ability to contribute to the design, development, and testing of applications, collaborate on system design and architecture, and translate user requirements into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with GWT, ReactJS, Backbone, JS and Rails front-end technologies, a strong foundation in Linux, and experience with AWS CLI, AWS CDK, and/or AWS SDK.
• Experience with Python and Bash, experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Oracle.
• Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, and Git source code version control software.
• The ability to automate repetitive and mundane tasks that could be automated, and the ability to troubleshoot Ruby on Rails applications, Apache Solr, Linux, and AWS.
• Familiarity with Restful web services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, and working in an Agile team environment
