Mobile Technology Lead
Akkodis is seeking a Mobile Technology Lead for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Ionic, Capacitor, Angular, and Swift to define mobile standards, mentor development squads, and ensure scalable, compliant, and reliable mobile solutions.
Rate Range: $56/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Mobile Technology Lead Job Responsibilities include:
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise‑grade hybrid and native mobile applications using Ionic, Capacitor, Angular, and Swift.
Define and enforce mobile development standards, best practices, and technical guidelines to ensure performance, security, and scalability.
Provide hands‑on development, code reviews, and native plugin implementation to integrate device capabilities and backend services.
Mentor and guide mobile development teams while collaborating closely with Product, UX, Backend, DevOps, and Security stakeholders.
Ensure high‑quality releases through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, App Store compliance, and performance optimization.
Implement and maintain mobile security best practices, monitor production issues, and support the full mobile application lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 3+ years in a technical lead or architect role.
Proven expertise in enterprise‑scale mobile development using Ionic, Capacitor, Angular, and native iOS (Swift).
Experience delivering secure, customer‑facing mobile applications within regulated environments such as banking or financial services.
