Salary Range: $140k to $180k - The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Job Description

NAOVI has a career opening for a Data Scientist for the following task:

Required Technologies/Tools

• Demonstrated experience with the ability to understand and automate customer workflows and business processes with AI solutions
• Demonstrated experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Demonstrated in-depth experience and knowledge of machine learning tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with extensive math and computer science skills, with a deep understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms
• Demonstrated experience in AI/ML specific programming languages, such as Python, Jav, C++, Conda, etc.
• Demonstrated experience training AI models, as well as in integrating pre-trained models into dataflows and software architecture.

Desired Technologies/Tools

• Demonstrated experience implementing secure AI solutions in the Intelligence Community
• Demonstrated experience working with highly sensitive data sets Demonstrated experience in leading AI/ML initiatives
• Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of implementing ETL (Enhance/Transform/Load) pipeline
• Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge in implementing solutions in Amazon Web Services
• Demonstrated experience with very strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated experience performing in a collaborative team environment.

• "Experience training machine learning models in a variety of ways, to meet a variety of functions, including but not limited to:

• Synthesis of code to be used for automated webscrapes;
• Automation of other functions related to webscrapes, including detection and “self-healing” of scrapes.
• Automated visual detection of object types (like types of vehicles, license plates, etc.) within video data.
• Automated review and analysis of terms of services of companies.
• Automating open-source collection of data that could be used to train Sponsor-owned AI/ML systems and models."
• Experience providing Model training based on training data that may need to be acquired from other components.
• Experience creating complete AI-based systems, which may include multiple inputs, models, human-review processes and outputs, ETL processes, and databases.
• Experience providing Productization and development of AI-based systems for use as part of collection mechanisms.
• Experience providing support to operational elements that are using these systems including breakfix work and software updates.
• Experience researching AL/ML technologies in open source to ensure that applicable cutting-edge technologies and capabilities are being brought to bear on Sponsor efforts.
• Experience supporting the efforts to collaborate with other elements across the Sponsor and community that are engaged in AI efforts.
• Experience framing and scaling data problems to effectively analyze, visualize, and find data solutions.
• Experience developing and supporting scalable and secure functionality into software applications, focusing on integrating and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and logic into the deliverables of an IT project.
• Experience understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track progress.
• Experience deriving insights and analytic narratives from data and visualizations for effective storytelling and clear communication in response to specific research questions.
• Experience analyzing technology trends related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and their strategic implications.
• Experience in performing independent technical research in relevant areas; robotics, autonomy, software, engineering, data analysis.
• Experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders to understand and assess business requirements and define AI solutions to align with architectural framework and meet business needs.
• Familiarity with disciplines such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Predictive modeling, Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis testing.
• Experience programming a system to look for or seek out specific conditions and respond based on those factors.
