Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Mclean, VA 22102 (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract with Extension

Must Have Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of strong development experience in salesforce. Candidates should also have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience using Python or a solid understanding of application and architecture design principles and strong Java and
Salesforce expertise.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support internal Salesforce applications.
• Enhance Experience cloud to support external customers
• Update the DevOps process using in-grown tools and process and assist in identifying efficiencies
• Update and maintain the test automations suite built using Cucumber/Selenium
• Deliver projects in Agile methodologies.
• Support planning activities, such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis and developer task assignments.
• Integrate microservices with the salesforce platform using APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), platform events and other integration mechanisms like MuleSoft
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed.
• Support production issues when required

Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support on Salesforce, backend development and API Integration.
• Solid understanding of salesforce development concepts, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning components(Aura/LWC) and salesforce APIs
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of test automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, etc)
• Prove experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices using technologies such as Java, Spring boot etc. or preferably MuleSoft
• Experience with message queues and event streaming platforms
• Familiarity with API design principles and best practices
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins and GitLab)
• Required Salesforce Developer Certifications
• Leveraging Freddie enabled AI tools to enhance delivery and velocity
• Demonstrates ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications
• 3+years’ experience developing in MuleSoft
• Experience in Python scripting to enhance scripts leveraged to maintain the platform

Pay Range: $80-90/hr.
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
