Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Document services accurately and timely to ensure quality care continuity
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs in line with state practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active Virginia PT license or ability to obtain before start
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning
• Patient documentation and care coordination
• Supervision of PTAs and rehab techs
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Strong clinical and communication skills
