What You’ll Bring:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting
• VQAS Level III certification or equivalent recognized credential, or EIPA Written Test and minimum Performance Test score of 3.5
• Experience providing sign language support in K-12 settings preferred
• Familiarity with the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
• Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive school records
• High school diploma; postsecondary education or interpreter training preferred

• Provide accurate sign language interpretation for students throughout the school day
• Facilitate communication in classrooms, during activities, and on field trips
