Job Summary

W e are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Technician to support the gas and chemical distribution systems in a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role ensures safe, reliable, and continuous operations of critical supply systems that support semiconductor production. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, adherence to safety standards, and a willingness to work hands-on with chemical and gas delivery systems.

Job Description

• Operate and maintain bulk liquid, specialty gas, and chemical delivery equipment
• Conduct system inspections, preventive maintenance, and routine safety checks
  
• Perform change-outs for gas cylinders and chemical totes/drums
  
• Monitor distribution systems and verify safe operation of toxic gas monitors
  
• Execute trailer transfers of bulk chemicals and gases
  
• Respond to operational issues and coordinate with teams to resolve problems
  
• Participate as a trained Emergency Response Team member
  
• Fulfill required on-the-job training and qualification within 12 months
  
• Support technician training and cross-team coordination
  
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety standards including Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Confined Space Entry, etc.
  
• Assist in handling hazardous waste, spill response, segregation, documentation, and shipment preparation
• Schedule: night shift 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Skills Required

• 5 years or more of relevant experience
• At least 1 year of related industrial or technical experience
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures precisely
  
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  
• Physically able to lift 40 lbs, wear a respirator, bend frequently, and stand/walk for extended periods (up to 11 hours/day)
  

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Background in semiconductor, chemicals, specialty gases, or similar technical industries
• Prior military technical experience (electronics, mechanical, or nuclear field)
  
• Forklift operation experience
  
• Understanding of hazardous waste handling and regulations
