The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) Partner Organization is seeking a dynamic ProServe Partner Leader (PPL) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll be responsible developing and driving ProServe opportunities for the US Department of Defense through and with partners. As the ProServe Partner leader you’ll be primarily focused on business development and pipeline progressing with AWS partners by building trust, identifying applicable joint professional services offerings, and successfully executing joint go-to-market plans. You'll work closely with ProServe Account Executives, ProServe Cloud Architects, Delivery Practice Managers to drive customer success and business growth.
Your experience in driving successful procurements to the US Department of Defense for technology solutions and professional services is critical for this role. You will demonstrate proficiency in business development, executing sales methodologies and advancing opportunity pipeline coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. PPLs performance will be measured against key metrics including but not limited to Partner Delivered Revenue, Partner Billable Bookings and overall ProServe pipeline growth with partners.
The AWS ProServe Partner Organization is a global team of experts help customers realize their desired business outcomes through and with partners when using the AWS Cloud.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead and develop ProServe opportunities through strategic partnership collaborations
• Spearhead business development initiatives and manage pipeline progression with AWS partners
• Design and execute joint go-to-market strategies with partners
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key internal stakeholders
• Identify and develop joint professional services offerings with partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with ProServe Account Executives, Cloud Architects, and Delivery Practice Managers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Proven track record in driving successful technology and professional services procurements in the US Department of Defense
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
