BecTech, Inc. is seeking a Mid- to Senior- Level Software Engineer to join their team in King George, VA. The qualified applicant will support missile and ballistic missile defense software development, testing and digital transformation in an Agile environment. The Software Engineer's functions include but are not limited to providing daily professional support to the client and Program Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the digital transformation of program data and processes.
• Assist with the design, development and testing of complex missile system software in an Agile environment.
• Experience/Expertise in C++ software development and maintenance experience, as well as software integration testing.
• Utilize software development tracking tools that capture all new development requirements, track software defects, and update implementation status of each item.
• Establish and maintain software development tasks and reporting the technical progress.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics with a concentration in software development
• US citizenship
• Security + Certification
• Secret Clearance (Interim or Final)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics with a concentration in software development
• Six (6) years minimal experience for a mid-level engineer and 12 years minimal experience for a senior-level engineer in combat systems or missile systems software. Experience in any of the following may be considered relevant: missile systems/combat systems design/engineering, computer program development, certification, simulation engineering, or simulation computer program development.
• Experience with software development in an Agile environment and digital transformation.
• Basic platform system experience (e.g., Windows, Unix, etc).
• Model Driven System Engineering (MDSE) experience
• Current Secret Clearance (Interim or Final)

• Will be required to use computer screen for extensive periods of time.
• Work environment office building indoors.
• Stressful environment must be able to reasonably handle changing and stressful environment.
• Must be able to interact with clients on a daily basis.
