We are seeking multi-disciplined International/FMS Security Specialist to join the F-35 JPO program in Arlington, VA. This is a proposal effort with award expected late-2026. The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) supports development, acquisition, fielding, modernization, and sustainment of the F-35 joint strike fighter. The F-35 JPO Security Directorate provides full spectrum multi-disciplined security support to protect F-35 technology and information across its enterprise and throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle. The role of the Security Specialist-International is to support program security tasks and provide SME-level guidance related to foreign military sales of the F-35:
- Provide multi-disciplined security guidance and mentorship to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionals
- Provide continuous evaluation of F-35 Partner and FMS security posture and provide written updates to International Security Manager, Program Security Officer, and assigned International Security Specialist
- Assist F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in developing country-unique security documents to ensure protection of F-35 assets at the appropriate level
- Develop and provide training to F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals to facilitate building, implementing and managing a comprehensive F-35 security program
- Assist F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in ensuring security policies and procedures are in compliance with Special Access Program (SAP), Classified Military Information (CMI), and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with U.S Government security requirements
- Provide general, physical, and cybersecurity support and training to F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals
- Provide security support at air shows, fighter competitions and other collaborative events
- Bachelor's Degree ; Master's preferred
- 10+ years of experience within the International security arena
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoDM 5205.07 Volumes Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705
- Knowledge of US International/Foreign Affairs objectives, Arms Export Control Act (AECA), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes, and/or understanding of international relations policy objectives within Security Assistance

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
