Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

phia is hiring an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to support intelligence functions, analytics, cyber investigations, and operations for a Federal client. Your contributions will safeguard our nation's digital assets and maintain a strategic advantage in the ever-evolving cyber domain. This job requires on-site work in Chantilly, VA. Active TS/SCI clearance with an active, in-scope Polygraph is required.
\n What You'll Do:- Conduct research and analysis at the operational or strategic level
- Communicate your assessments of operational- or strategic-level analytic intelligence products through oral briefings.
- Use your knowledge of NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks to implement risk management programs for our federal clients.
- Conduct comprehensive threat analysis, including assessments to identify and describe threat actors, their activities, platforms, and targets, while analyzing how they interact and providing insights into the presence, intent, and capabilities of identified threats.
- Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams.
- Work alongside federal clients to help them mitigate risk using continuous monitoring and incident response.
- Establish security controls to ensure the protection of client systems.
- Implement cutting-edge security tools for our federal clients.
- BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline. Equivalent years of professional experience may be substituted for the degree.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in strategic analysis and report writing, conducting research and analysis at the operational or strategic level, and performing cyber threat analysis, including identifying and describing threat actors, activities, platforms, and targets.
- Basic understanding of computer networking, including TCP/IP and networking devices.
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex technical subjects quickly and build subject matter expertise in assigned areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modifying existing formulas.
- Strong presentation skills, including the capability to give cybercrime briefings using PowerPoint and the ability to present strategic information to executive management.
- Skill in communicating assessments through oral briefings.
- Proven track record of self-directed work, with examples of independently researched and produced strategic products that informed policy decisions.
- Experience reviewing source reporting and raw intelligence to determine value, significance, and relevance.
- Ability to assess how environmental variables may affect known or emerging threats in a domain.
- Must be available to work on-site for this role.

- CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+)
- CompTIA PenTest+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- Cyber Security Incident Responder or GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID)
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Top Secret Clearance required with active, in-scope (within 5 years) Polygraph
