Vice President, Federal Marketing and Communications
CGI is seeking a future thinking, AI enabled Vice President of Federal Marketing & Communications (M&C) to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of end to end marketing and communications for CGI Federal. This senior executive will elevate market visibility, modernize operations, govern enterprise standards, and tightly align marketing with business development and capture teams to accelerate growth across the Federal Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence markets. Marketing & Communications at CGI Federal operates as a strategic growth engine. Success comes from enabling the business to win, grow, and retain federal clients through targeted positioning, reputation management, data driven campaigns, deal based marketing, and unified storytelling. This leader will help drive pipeline generation, strengthen federal pursuits, build market awareness, and engage members through compelling internal communications. The ideal candidate pairs strategic thinking with operational excellence and is comfortable shaping long term strategy while also rolling up their sleeves to deliver outcomes. This position is located in FAIRFAX. Your future duties and responsibilities
Strategic Federal Marketing Partnership & Growth
. Serve as the senior MarCom advisor to CGI Federal Business Unit leadership.
. Align marketing and communications strategies with federal market growth priorities, capture plans, and enterprise BD strategy.
. Shape go to market strategies based on federal market insights, competitive intelligence, and mission requirements.
. Modernize operations into a data driven, AI enabled, automated growth engine.
. Strengthen demand generation, ABM, and deal based marketing efforts to support federal pursuits. Federal Brand, Positioning & Market Leadership
. Drive an integrated, differentiated market narrative tailored to federal audiences.
. Reinforce CGI as a global brand and a federal partner of choice through targeted thought leadership, media outreach, and analyst engagement.
. Lead integrated campaigns that comply with federal requirements, including Section 508 and program marks.
. Govern brand consistency and eliminate fragmented, low value activities. Communications, Reputation & Executive Visibility
. Guide strategic storytelling, leadership messaging, and executive communications.
. Manage proactive media relations, external reputation management, and issues/crisis communications.
. Ensure alignment with federal compliance, brand governance, and CGI standards. Employee Engagement, Culture & Talent Branding
. Partner with HR and Federal senior leaders to strengthen member engagement and culture.
. Drive recruitment and talent branding aligned to federal workforce needs and priorities.
. Collaborate with the VP of Strategic Engagement & Insights to connect CGI partners to strategy and mission. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
. Lead and develop a high performing Federal Marketing & Communications organization.

. Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including significant experience supporting federal clients or federal focused organizations.
. Deep understanding of the Federal Civilian and DoD markets, including trends, mission priorities, and compliance requirements.
. Strong experience aligning marketing with business development, capture, and federal go to market strategies.
. Fluency in AI, analytics, and modern MarTech to enhance operational scale and performance.
. Exceptional executive communications, narrative development, and storytelling skills.
. Proven ability to lead high performing teams and manage complex budgets.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $190,100.00 $351,600.00.
