Project Manager
Job Description
· Provides overall leadership, coordination, and oversight for digital services supporting NSF OLPA.
· Serves as the primary point of contact between OLPA, the COR, and contractor digital staff.
· Plans, prioritizes, and manages digital tasks across graphic design, web development, UX, multimedia, and digital asset management.
· Develops schedules, staffing plans, and task-level work plans to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
· Ensures all digital products comply with NSF branding, federal plain-language standards, and Section 508/WCAG accessibility requirements.
· Manages risks, resolves issues, and adapts resources to meet evolving requirements and surge needs.
· Coordinates publishing workflows with the NSF Web Team and supports ticket-based operations (e.g., ServiceNow).
· Tracks performance metrics and provides regular status updates to the COR and OLPA leadership.
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Information Technology, Web Design, Graphic Design, Project Management, or a closely related field; or
· Equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Experience / Qualifications
· Minimum 8 years of progressive experience managing digital, web, or multimedia projects.
· At least 5 years managing cross-functional teams (designers, developers, UX professionals).
· Demonstrated experience supporting federal agencies or similarly complex organizations.
· Experience coordinating Drupal-based publishing environments and ensuring Section 508/WCAG compliance.
· Strong stakeholder management, scheduling, and risk mitigation skills.
