Job Description

People Ready Skilled Trades is hiring a HVAC Tig Welder for shop work in Norfolk.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $38 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricating and welding: Responsible for fabricating and welding HVAC piping systems, ensuring proper installation and alignment of components.
• Welding operations: Performing TIG welding operations to join metals, alloys, or other materials used in HVAC systems.
• Equipment operation: Operating TIG welding machines and other equipment to execute precise and high-quality welds.
• Quality control: Maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring all welds meet the required specifications.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be able to pass a skills test
• Drug screen and have Marine Osha.
• Project with start ASAP and last 3-4 Months
