Maintenance Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE for assigned tasks.
- Ensure all personnel on-site comply with safety requirements.
- Report unsafe conditions to the Project Manager or Operations Supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance on water, sewer, stormwater, and street infrastructure systems.
- Clean sanitary and storm sewer lines, manholes, and drop inlets.
- Read utility meters and perform lift station inspections.
- Collect chlorine samples and conduct sewer smoke testing.
- Flush fire hydrants and operate valves as required.
- Perform scraping, painting, digging, and general maintenance activities.
- Repair damaged infrastructure, including water, sewer, and storm lines.
- Repair leaks, manholes, drop inlets, pavement, signs, and other infrastructure components.
- Respond to emergency situations such as weather-related events, utility failures, and client requests.
- Communicate completed activities to project leadership for reporting purposes.
- Empty and clean portable toilets, trash cans, and maintain clean work areas.
- Deliver project-related equipment, chairs, signs, and materials as needed.
- Ensure compliance with MISS Utility regulations and dig ticket procedures.
- Coordinate work activities with clients and project stakeholders.
- Support other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Relevant vocational or technical training is an advantage.
