Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking dedicated speech-language pathologists for a full-semester contract in Richmond, VA. This position involves working in a middle school setting with a focus on providing exceptional support to students with diverse communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License
- CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is an asset
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and therapy models
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location: Richmond, VA
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
- Manage a caseload of preschool and elementary students
